Synopsis:
In the seven months Lima Company spent in Iraq, one in eight of them died--making the Ohio reserve unit the hardest hit of any in the Iraq War. The soldiers in this documentary share their photos and footage at ease and in the height of battle, while their families and comrades back home share their grief and their memories. Hearing about so much loss will inflame your passions--whatever you think about the war. But as much as Combat Diary is about the dead, what the men of Lima Company want--and need--us to remember is that they lived.
